• The choice for the type of frame to use belongs exclusively to you and your engineer. However, you should take into account the specificities and needs of the house or building, the climatic conditions prevailing in the area and, of course, the commitments imposed by urban planning.
  • Of particular importance is the attributes of the performance and operation of the frames as described in the relevant certificates.
  • In order to be able to admire your frames for many years, the following must be observed regarding the cleanliness and proper use and maintenance of the frames.
  • Immediately upon completion of the installation of the frames in the building, the protective strips must be removed and the surfaces cleaned.
  • The frames are carefully washed without the use of caustic cleaners and without the use of sails, brush, sandpaper or any object that can injure their surface or their mechanisms. Use mild detergents (such as dishwashing).
  • You should watch out and remove any foreign bodies from the water bodies (in the frames) in order for the water to flow freely.
  • Cleaning must be carried out at regular intervals. We recommend that it be done from 4 to 12 times during the year.
  • The beginning of the cleaning process is good starting in March and continuing until December. The cleaning process must take place at times when the building is protected from sunlight. After cleaning, the surfaces should be rinsed with plenty of clean water.
  • To control good operation in locks and door handles, the sheet must be closed.
  • On the sliding windows we check the correct scrolling of the sheets. If we notice difficulty, we call again the special technician – installer who installed them.
  • At times (once a year), we also check the sealing rings or brushes.
  • If we find it difficult to use the mechanical parts of a frame, we never try to put them into operation in a violent way, we call the special technician – installer who installed them.
  • When installing, building materials (cement, lime) should not come into direct contact with aluminum frames because they can cause corrosion.
  • Once the frames are installed in the building, the protective strips must be removed and the surfaces cleaned.
  • The window frames must be cleaned at least four times a year.
  • Double frames provide additional sound insulation, especially if their perimeter is covered with soundproof material.
  • The metal fittings of the frames must be easy to use and replace
  • Choosing the manufacturer to undertake work in your home or building is a very important element in the final performance of the frames
  • The window frames must be inserted before painting the walls
  • The choice of colors should be careful and clear, as painting is a particular and time-consuming stage of construction
  • The frames are available in a wide range of colors and textures, so as to perfectly satisfy every taste and style
  • As long as large window frames are chosen, they are not affected by sudden temperature fluctuations
